Configuring the MicroStation rendering options

The MicroStation rendering options specify which drawing layouts to render and to which format in the destination system. The rendering module launches MicroStation in the background and executes a macro file that sets the output parameters. The macro is executed before the Print Execute command in MicroStation. The macro file is installed by Publisher and its name is BlueCieloECM.Renditions.MicroStation.bas.

Note    If you modify the macro file, back up or delete the previous compiled macro file named BlueCieloECM.Renditions.MicroStation.ba. The macro source file that you modified will be compiled into a new resource file.

After the rendition is created, a log file named Macro.log can be viewed to troubleshoot the macro input parameters. By default, the file is located in the folder <WindowsTempFolder>\BCTemp\MicrostationRender.

To configure the MicroStation rendering options:

  1. In BlueCielo Application Manager, expand the name of the publishing job in the configuration tree that you want to configure.
  2. Select the Configuration branch in the configuration tree. The job's configuration pages appear in the right pane.
  3. Click the Rendition tab. The Rendition configuration page appears.
  4. Select Bentley MicroStation and click Options. The MicroStation Rendering Options dialog appears.
  5. Select or enter options using the descriptions in the following table.
